EncounterPoints is a podcast conversation hosted by Bill Schmitt (communications consultant and independent journalist) and Ken Hallenius (communications specialist and syndicated Catholic radio program host) which explores their lived experience as Catholic men who are, like all people, called to be missionary disciples.
Series One was a conversation entitled Got Joy?, exploring one of the major animating principles of Pope Francis’s pontificate. The first episode of Series One was released in March 2018, and the final episode (#9) of the series was released in April 2018.
Series Two started in July 2019, and was all about Incarnational Piety: the aspects of our faith that we see, smell, hear, touch, and taste. The final episode of Series Two (#14) was released in December 2019.
Series Three began in January 2020, and is entitled Love Always Communicates. The new series aims to explore the aspects of social communication through the lens of the Church’s ever-developing teaching on the subject. The first episode of the current series was released on January 13, 2020, and new episodes are released (pretty much) weekly.
